Flood Restoration

Water damage can be caused by an array of sources such as broken rainwater or sewage pipes, dishwashers, washing machines or heavy rain and river flooding. Time is of the essence when you have discovered water damage in your property.

If it is not properly dried or removed within 48 hours of damage, the affected area is likely to grow mould. Mould is extremely difficult to eliminate once established, frequently causing ongoing problems for months on end.

All too often properties, whilst seemingly ‘dried out’, are actually becoming hosts to millions of spores that are establishing and renewing themselves. Concealed areas such as concrete slab sub floor bases and intermediate floor deafening and timber deafening boards need to be fully exposed and dried out or treated. Further treatments will result in more upheaval, debris, eventual redecoration and very likely a significant uplift in costs.

There is no substitute for the experience and knowledge of a qualified specialist to ensure that attacks by dry rot do not materialize just when you thought that everything had returned to normal.

The Preservation Company will expediently put together a Flood Or Water Damage Restoration Plan that will identify and eliminate all risk areas to ensure that your home is quickly restored to damp-free status without the constant worry of unidentified issues materializing at a later date. Should you have any concerns, contact us today.
